OPTIM Incorporated manufactures a line of insertion tube assemblies for use in repairs of the most popular colonoscopes, gastroscopes and bronchoscopes.

As an ISO9001 and EN46001-certified, FDA-registered and CGMP-compliant manufacturer of flexible fiber optic endoscopes and scope assemblies, OPTIM Incorporated is now offering these insertion tubes to endoscope repair facilities.

OPTIM Incorporated insertion tubes are manufactured with USP Class VI materials and are compliant with the ISO 10993 Specification of Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices. The tube assemblies are compatible with STERIS ®, STERRAD ®, Glutaraldehyde, EtO and Cidex OPA disinfection and sterilization methods.

Insertion tubes are provided with the proximal fitting attached to reduce repair time for the repair technician.

OPTIM Incorporated offers Light Guide Umbilicals, which may be used in repair of most popular bronchoscopes, ureteroscopes, cystoscopes, laryngoscopes, gastroscopes and colonoscopes.

The umbilicals are offered without end fittings and include extra end sheathing material to facilitate repairs.

The umbilicals are compatible with Glutaraldehyde, EtO, STERIS and STERRAD reprocessing methods.

OPTIM’s Coil Pipe Assemblies are available for a variety of bronchoscope, gastroscope and colonoscope models. The assemblies are manufactured using a hard soldering method to attach the coil pipes to the distal fittings. Each assembly is then pressure tested to ensure coil pipe strength
